After seeing some artist doing some super realistic drawing with illustrator mesh tool, my hands were itchy. And I started tracing a photo during the waiting time while I'm freelancing in agency. The result turn out quite nice and i like the effect of Chinese brush strokes.
Here is the key line view of the drawing, i think the face can be simplify a lot more, but since this is the first try I just let it go.
Hope will have times to do another.
